The “Prague” Complex

And what’s the great amount of names for the capital of Czechia — Prague you can hear! “The heart of Europe”, “City of hundred towers”, “East Paris”, “Northern Rome”, “the Symphony stiffened in a stone”... An old part of the city, everlasting variety of the architectural monuments and time stiffened in a stone make to distract from daily vanity and to reflect on eternal. The new part of Prague breathes by power and comfort of Europe, forcing heart of city to beat even more often to keep pace with the constantly varied outward world.

But these, as it may seem, contradictory halves merge in the whole one, supplementing each other harmoniously and arising admiration of the numerous visitors of the city. Leaving Prague, too big desire to take even small of it part appears. So, the idea of creation “of small Prague” in Donetsk was born some years ago.

The task to joint charm of an old city and functionality of a new one in the hotel was set for architects. As the result at the centre of Donetsk the unique architectural complex which has incorporated greatness of a history and comfort of modernity has appeared.
